- 1931 – The first overseas Club was formed in Ballarat, Australia.
- On 6th may, 1934, the Association of Inner Wheel Clubs in reat Britain and Ireland came into being.
- Since 1936 – Newly formed Inner Wheel Clubs were given a Certificate of Membership or “THE CHARTER”.
- In 1955 – Inner Wheel came to India with formation of |.W.Club of Ahmedabad as District 75 now District 305. (The First District in India)
- 1st July 1967- International Inner Wheel came into being. The first board meeting was held in Copenhagen. Five board members were present from Denmark, Great Britain, Ireland, Neterlands, Norway and Sweden, Ms. Lavender Weigtman became the first 1.1.W. President and came to india in 1968. Combined three districts of Gujrat, Saurashtra and Bombay and named as National Council of India.
- 1968 – Ms. Malti Rana was appointed the First |. 1. W.
Representative.
- 1976 – The Association of |.W. Clubs in india, Sri Lanka andBangladesh was formed, Ms. Raksha Mehta (District 314) was the first President.
- 1977 – The first conference of the Association was held in Bombay. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are no longer in
Association of I.W. Clubs in India, India is now the secondlargest Association after Great Britain & Ireland.
